Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is a 2001 Bollywood movie directed by Abbas-Mustan. It stars Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta. Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is possibly the first Bollywood movie to handle the taboo issue of surrogate childbirth.
Some of the scenes in the film have been borrowed from Pretty Woman (1990) and movie is considered a remake of Doosri Dulhan by Lekh Tandon.
In 2001, the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) seized prints of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, after it was discovered the movie was funded by the Mumbai underworld, which was resulted in a well publicised controversy, known as The Bharat Shah Case.
