I heard watched Kidnap because I had heard it is a good movie. However the only thing good is the reason for not seeing the flick.
Kidnap is meant to be an abduction thriller but it falls flat, not because of the actors but because of the plot. IMran Khan does a great job in emoting the pain his character feels but the director, Gandhvi (famous for Dhoom 1 and 2) does an even better job at giving the audience a pain in the head as it tries to figure out the silliness of the kidnapper's (Imran Khan's) action after he kidnaps Minisha Lamba, the daughter of the billionaire character played by Sanjay Dutt.
The cinematography, the car chase, the songs, Miniha Lamba's clothes (or um the lack of them) are all good but wiothout an airtight storyline the film does dissapoint.
